These terms apply to your use of the Readyness website, including the Readyness Check and the Founding 500 list. Readyness is a brand of Legable ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Who can use the site

You must be at least 18 years old to join the Founding 500 or the waitlist. The site is designed for people in the United States.

What Readyness is, and isn't

Readyness and Legable are not law firms and do not provide legal, financial, medical, tax or estate-planning advice. Readyness provides organization and education tools. Nothing on this site creates an attorney-client or any other professional relationship. For decisions about your own circumstances, talk to a licensed professional. See the disclaimer for more.

The Founding 500 and the waitlist

• Joining is free and creates no obligation to buy anything.
• The benefits we describe, such as early access, challenges, voting on modules and founder pricing, are our current plans. We may change, limit or end them, and we may close the list at any time.
• Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. If we offer products or founder pricing, the price and terms will be stated clearly at that time, and you decide then.
• You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

The Readyness Check

The Readyness Check is a self-assessment. Your score reflects only your own answers about whether you could find certain information. It is not a legal, financial, medical or estate-planning assessment, and it does not tell you whether any document you have is valid, current or sufficient.

What you send us

Please give accurate information and only your own email address. If you share ideas or feedback, including as a founding member, you agree we may use them to improve Readyness without owing you anything for them.

Using the site fairly

Don't misuse the site: no automated signups or scraping, no attempts to break or overload it, no submitting other people's information, and nothing unlawful.

Our content and names

The site's content, design, and the Readyness and Legable names and marks belong to Legable. You may share links and use the site for your own personal purposes, but please don't copy or republish the content as your own.

Links to other sites

We may link to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

No warranties

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the site will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Legable will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date at the top, and it applies from then on. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
