Brand guide

The Readyness logo, colours and type, and how to use them. Every logo version is below as an SVG for screens and print, and a PNG with a transparent background.

“readyness.” and “BY LEGABLE” are set in Arial Bold with adjusted letter spacing, then outlined to shapes. Use the files; never retype the logo.

  • Headlines

    Ready

    Space Grotesk

Display type on the website: bold, tight and often in capitals. Weights 300 to 700.

Usage

Clear space

Keep the transparent margin built into the files clear on every side: a fifth of the letters’ size, so 20px when the wordmark is set at 100px. More is better.

Minimum size on screen

Wordmark with BY LEGABLE
120px wide
Wordmark
80px wide
Icon
16px

Below 120px wide, use the wordmark without BY LEGABLE.

Naming

  • The name is spelled Readyness, with a y. In the logo it is lowercase with a full stop (“readyness.”). In text, write Readyness with a capital R and no full stop.
  • Legable appears only as the BY LEGABLE endorsement under the wordmark, never as a separate logo or product next to Readyness.

Please don’t

  • Don’t stretch, squash, rotate or redraw the logo.
  • Don’t recolour it outside the six versions, or add gradients, shadows, outlines or other effects.
  • Don’t retype the wordmark in a font: the files carry its letter spacing.
  • Don’t drop or move the full stop.
  • Don’t put the logo on a ground its version is not made for (white and lime go on dark grounds; primary, blue, ink and black on light ones).
  • Don’t enlarge BY LEGABLE, put Legable first, or set the two names side by side as equals.
